An elite unit of soldiers known as the Sky Commanders, "Protectors
of the High Frontier," battle General Plague's army from their cliche
world domination plot. The Sky Commanders include General Mike Summit
[Bob Ridgely], Commander Rex "Cutter" Kling [William Windom], Commander
Cliff "Books" Baxter [Richard Doyle], Commander Pete "Kodiak" Crane
[Soon-Teck Oh ], Commander Jack "Spider" Reily [Tristan Rogers],
and Commander R.J. Scott [Darryl Hickman] - able to transverse long
distances with the help of their specialized backbacks that had
grappling and cablecar abilities.
The
Commanders were stationed at a base called Vector Command, and moved
along cables suspended by grappling hook devices, or hover vehicles.
Plague's own brand of raiders had similar backpacks, and included
right-hand man Raider Rath [Paul Eiding], Mordax [Dick Gautier],
and Kreeg [Charlie Adler].

Narrator:
Deep
in the South Pacific, a tumultuous and untamed new continent has
erupted, spawned by a highly unstable new element, known as Pheta-7.
If this powerful new element could be controlled, whoever possessed
it would be the undisputed ruler of the world.
One
man, General Lucas Plague, is determined to hold that title. And
it's up to a rugged team of mountaineering experts, lead by commander
Mike Summit, to stop him. Employing revolutionary new gravity-lock
and laser-cable technology to traverse the ever-changing terrain
of the High Frontier, Mike Summit's Sky Commanders, and General
Plague's Raiders, are locked in mortal combat, with the fate of
the entire world hanging in the balance! |
