Very similar, unthough unrelated to the Smurfs - this series featured
tiny water dwelling characters with distinct snorkels growing out
of their heads. Taking place in the 1600s, these creatures reside
in "Snorkland," they occasionally venture to the surface to interact
with humans, thanks to fellow snork Galileo [Clive Revill] and his
first contact. The Snorks included main character Allstar Seaworthy
[Michael Bell] and red-head girlfriend Casey Kelp [B.J. Ward], Allstar's
little sister Smallstar Seaworthy [Gail Matthius], his pet octopus
Occy [Frank Welker], Daffney Gillfin [Nancy Cartwright] and boyfriend
Dimmy Finster [Brian Cummings], Tooter Shelby [Frank Welker] who
honked rather than spoke, and the wild, two-snorkeled Jo-Jo [Roger
DeWitt]. Corky [Rob Paulsen] acted as the police patrollman.
The
misfit characters included Junior Wetworth [Barry Gordon] - a spoiled
governor's son who bullied Allstar, and Bigweed [Michael Bell] with
smaller counterpart Lil Seaweed [B.J. Ward].
