Featuring an hour long presentation of abridged episode segments: Inhumanoids, Jem, Bigfoot and the Muscle Machines and Robotix, Super Sunday aired weekly on late Sunday mornings. While the show itself did not have its own opening theme, it introduced each segment with a cel featuring a crossover of two shows that would air that day, and featured spliced versions of each show's theme song.

An announcer would begin each segment with "And now, the adventures of..." and each segment would close with a "To Be Continued..." scene. Episodes of the four series were rotated each week, and generally presented in 6-7 minute blocks, each. All shows, with the exception of Roboix, went on as their own individual series.

Super Sunday was re-named and advertised as Super Saturday in other areas of the United States.
