Teenager Brett Matthews [Michael Mish] veers off the road during
a thunderstorm and crashes into a laboratory while an experiment
is taking place. An energy beam penetrates his car, fusing him with
it. In heated moments, Brett's body would shapeshift into his red
sports car (sometimes happening in bad places and situations), beginning
with his hands turning into wheels, his face into the hood, his
legs into the rear axle and tires, and his mouth and eyes into the
grille and headlights.
With
his newfound abilities, Brett and friends Alex [T.K. Carter] and
Patty [Pamela Hayden] foiled criminals' plans, while trying to help
Brett figure out how to turn back to normal. In the meantime, they
fend off a mysterious Bigfoot-looking vehicle driven by "Dark Rider."
