Monster truck favorite Bigfoot premieres in this series, and is
driven by the all-American Yank Justice [Lance LeGault] whose efforts
are to thwart Mr. Big, aka Adrian Ravenscroft [Peter Cullen], and
his attempts to recover the Fountain of Youth. With help from friends
Close McCall [Wally Burr] and red-headed twins Red and Redder [both
voiced by Susan Blu], Yank travels across the map avoiding Ravenscroft
and his henchmen: a team of motorcycle riding, battle-helmet wearing
punks.
Bigfoot
& the Muscle Machines was an animated segment of the Super Sunday
rotation series, running alongside episodes of Jem, Inhumanoids
and Robotix.

SST released a "Muscle Machines" toyline featuring the main vehicles
from "Bigfoot and the Muscle Machines." It even used expanded versions
of the cartoon's theme music.
"Bigfoot
and the Muscle Machines: The Movie" was released on VHS in 1987,
but was nothing more than all 9 cartoon episodes spliced together.
A similar practice can be found with its counterpart, "Robotix."
