Camp Candy was an animated Saturday morning cartoon hosted and voiced by the late actor John Candy, who played the role of counselar over his own summer camp for children. Assisted by Nurse Molly (Valri Bromfield), John was joined by the voice talents of his own children: Christopher and Jennifer, with an assortment of children of various personality types who always kept his wits on end. The show typically portrayed animals as having almost human characteristics and facial expressions.

Lyrics by Harry Nilsson, sung by John Candy

The flea bites, the bee bites, the bark of the tree bites
the quietness of darkness, the stories told by firelight
the long nights, the food fights
A summer made of memories at Camp...Can..dy
The moon lights, the sunshine, the rainy days and wet nights
At Camp...Can...dy

Candy: Good morning happy campers...everywhereee...
