Similar to the "Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C3P0" cartoon
series, Ewoks featured the furry creatures' life before the Battle
of Endor (Return of the Jedi). Main character and scout Wicket Warrick
[Denny Delk] resides in the settlement of Bright Tree, governed
by Chief Chirpa [George Buza/Rick Cimino], including Wickett's father
Deej and mother Shodu [Esther Scott], friends Princess Kneesaa [Cree
Summer], Teebo [James Cranna], Latara [Taborah Johnson], Malani
[Alyson Court], Asha, and medicine man Logray.
Most
of the Ewok's exploits featured in the show dealt with the dangers
of the forest and their adversaries, the Dulok tribe and Morag [Jackie
Burroughs] the Tulga Witch.
20th
Century Fox released select episodes of the "Ewoks" cartoon
on DVD, in 2004.
