Galtar and the Golden Lance was an animated fantasy series and a
part of the rotation show "The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera."
Taking
place on a planet resembling a setting of ancient mythology, Galtar
[Lou Richards] is a kind warrior in search of his Golden Lance,
which was stolen by the evil Tormack [Brock Peters].
Teaming
up with Zorn [David Mendenhall], who is adorned with psyonic powers,
as well as Galtar's horse Thork [voiced by Frank Welker], they defend
Zorn's sister, Princess Goleeta [Mary McDonald Lewis], protect their
village, and recover her stolen Golden Shield. The one who wields
both Golden Lance and Shield becomes all powerful, a severe danger
in the hands of Tormack.
