Glo Friends was a weekday morning(?) animated series.
The
Glo-Friends, magical bugs that glowed with the help of Moondrops,
consisted of Glo-Worm, Glo-Spider, Glo-Sniffles Snail, Glo-Turtle,
Glo-Cricket, Glo-Butterfly, Glo-Bedbug and Glo-Bashfulbug. They
escape the clutches of Starnose, Rook, and the Molligan followers
who seek to imprison the Glo-Friends and use them to light underground
gold mines.
This
show aired as a segment of the "My Littly Pony/Glo-Friends/Moondreamers/Potato
Head Kids Hour" (1986), and spun off a movie, The "Glo-Friends Save
Christmas," in 1986. |
