The Incredible Hulk was one of several series based on the Marvel
comics character. This Hulk series features main character Dr. Bruce
Banner [Michael Bell], an employee of Gamma Base whose secret is
unknown to the public. The bulk of the series involved various scientific
experiments and accidents that were overcome by Banner and colleage
Rick Jones [Michael Horton] and girlfriend Betty Ross [B.J. Ward];
briefly encountering villans such as Doctor Octopus [Michael Bell],
Quasimoto - the ancestor of the Hunchback, and Dr. Carlston - an
evil inventor. Bruce is also rivaled by his colleage, Dr. Proto.
Briefly
explaining how Bruce became the Hulk (beyond Episode #3: Origin
of the Hulk), this series jumped right into the action with only
one short season of airtime.
Walt
Disney Video released DVD episodes of "The Incredible Hulk"
in 2003.
