The Kwicky Koala Show, was a half-hour series produced by cartoon
legend Tex Avery, featuring three cartoons in rotation: Kwicky Koala,
Crazy Claws, Dirty Dawg, and Bungle Brothers. The main segment was
about the super speedy Kwicky [Robert Allen Ogle] and his efforts
to escape the jaws of Wilfred Wolf [John Stephenson]. Consequentially,
it was one of Avery's final productions before his death in 1980.
Crazy
Claws: Easygoing cat Crazy Claws [Jim MacGeorge] escapes
capture by Rawhide Clyde [Bob Ogle] and his hound, Bristletooth...not
to mention the dopey Ranger Rangerfield [Michael Bell], who pursued
all three. The series had 16 episodes.
Dirty
Dawg: Dirty Dawg [Frank Welker] and buddy Ratso [Marshal
Efron] lived in a trash heap and were antagonized by police officer
Bullhorn [Matthew Faison]. The series had 16 episodes.
Jungle
Brothers: This series of 48 total cartoon shorts were placed
within episodes of the Kwicky Koala Show, with three per episode.
Dealing with two circus dogs George [Michael Bell] and Joey [Allan
Melvin], the fumbling characters tried to enter showbiz as circus
acts.
