Lady Lovely Locks, a farmer's orphaned daughter, is discovered to
have rainbow streaks in her hair proclaiming her royalty, and allowing
her to summon the Pixietails (tiny creatures whose long tails look
like colored hair extensions) when in need.
Her
closests friends: Maiden Fair Hair [Jeannie Elias] Maiden Curly
Crown [Louise Vallance], and the mermaid Maiden Goldenwaves accompany
her as twisted foe Dutchess Raven Waves [Louise Vallance] wishes
to overcome her throne and cut off her rainbow streaks. Lady is
also accompanied by the dog Prince, who is actually Price Strongheart
turned into a dog by a magical spell.
