Sometimes credited as "It's Punky Brewster," this animated series
included voiceovers from the original live-action TV series upon
which it was based, starringthe orphan Punky [Soleil Moon Frye],
her dog Brandon and her magical critter friend, Glomer [Frank Welker],
along with her parent/guardian Henry Warnimont [George Gaynes].
While episodes typically deal with mishaps caused by Glomer and
her constant efforts to conceal him from everyone else, Punky also
deals with trouble involving her bratty schoolmate Margaux Kramer
[Ami Foster], Cherie Johnson [as herself] and Allen Anderson [Casey
Ellison].
