FAQ

Here's a list of frequently asked questions about site functionality, and more. We'll constantly add to the list, as time goes on:
.

Q: What are the benefits of being a member? How is my sign-up information used?

A: As a registered member (which is free), you'll be able to post in the message board, vote on videos, add videos to your list of favorites, and leave comments for videos. None of these options are available to lurkers - so be sure to sign up now! As for your information - it is and always will be kept private, and will never be used for re-sale, or for annoying spam e-mails.

Q: I can't view any videos...what gives?

A: Please make sure that you have the Macromedia Flash Player, it's required for viewing all of the videos on our site, as well as the screenshot viewers. Additionally, it is important to ensure that you have the Java plugin running & enabled for your broswer for many of our site's features. If you are still having problems, please send us an email.

Q: I've done all of those things, and the page still looks messed up...

A: This must mean that 1) you're using IE 7, and 2) you've disallowed the Flash plugin acknolwedgement that the browser popped up warning about when visiting the website, or 3) you do not have a current version of Macromedia Flash. Please adjust things accordingly to these three factors! Otherwise, you may be behind a company firewall that is blocking Flash or Java in some way.

Q: How do I download videos?

A: Unfortunately, that has not been added as a built-in website feature. Try using a 3rd party service, such as YouTubeX or Video Downloader. (these have not been tested, are not supported by us; and usage is at your own risk).

Q: Can I join the team?

A: We are not currently looking for new hires; however, becoming a message board member is a great way to keep up with our status!

Q: How can I advertise on your site?

A: Advertising, at the current time, is entirely driven by Google Adsense. If you have more specific needs, ideas or proposals for your company's desire to advertise before that point, please do send us an email.
