Here are some links of these three types of bowling that are related to my bowling petition. They are about five-pin, rubberband duckpin, and duckpin bowling. I would like to let you know, that five-pin bowling was invented in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1909, by a man named "Thomas F. Ryan." And he added the rubber rings to the 5 pins in 1912. Rubberbnad duckpin however, was invented in Maryland in the 1930's. And was also played in Pennsylvania, and now is played in Quebec, Canada by the French-Canadians. The French-Canadians call rubberband duckpin "Petites quilles", meaning "Little skittles" in French. As for duckpin bowling, it was also invented in Maryland in 1900. Please feel free to take a look at these bowling links:

Here's a Canadian bowling website that you can check out. It tells about Canadian 5 pin bowling, ten-pin, candlepin, and rubberband duckpin bowling (Petites Quilles). It also talks about Thomas F. Ryan (The inventor of 5 pin bowling), and shows an old 5:minute black and white video of him being interviewed back in 1957 in a 5 pin bowling alley. This page is related to the bowling agenda on this page about bowling with my bowling petitions. Because I love bowling, and five types of bowling. Including 9 pin bowling. If you are a bowling fan too. See for yourself:

One of these videos shows a set of Canadian 5 pins being swept away by an automatic free-fall pinsetter machine. And you can also sign my petition to bring these pinsetter machines back for 5 pins, and rubberband duckpins. Take a look at these videos:

All types of bowling are welcomed on this page on this Off-Topic subject on Retrostatic. Including Bocce, and Lawn Bowling. This page is about bowling. And it's one of my favorite sports in life. And to complete it, here's about candlepin bowling, British 9-Pin Skittles, and to finish it off, we'll add ten pin bowling. Which is the major worldwide type of bowling. Candlepin bowling is only played in New England, New Brunswick, and in Nova Scotia, Canada. There are also several lanes of candlepins that exists in a place called "The Civic Center" in Wyoming, Ohio. British 9-Pin Skittle bowling is only played in pubs in the U.K.. And if you ever would like to buy yourself a set of Canadian 5-pin bowling pins, you can order them from a bowling supply place called "Bowling Sales of Canada." Which is located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada:

Also, if you live in the U.S., you can try to buy bowling pins cheaper, and with domestic shipping at a bowling supply place in Rhode Island called "American Products Inc.." They sell new/used ten pins, candlepins, duckpins, and rubberband duckpins. But I doubt they have Canadian 5 pin bowling pins. You can contact this place and ask for "Peter Leitar":

If anybody who is living outside New England, or outside of South-Eastern Canada that are not familiar with candlepin bowling. Candlepin bowling is a very hard, challenging, and deceiving game. It was invented in 1879 by a man named "Justin White" in Worcester, Massachusetts. "A perfect game" (300 points/12 strike string) has never been played in candlepin bowling. Or even in duckpin bowling. And it may never happen. Nobody has ever done it. But these 2 types of bowling can still be fun to play. You could be interested in playing candlepins. But they only exists in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, Canada. And there are only about 6 lanes of candlepins that only exists inside a place called "The Civic Center" in Wyoming, Ohio. Any of you who lives outside Massachusetts, or New Hampshire that are devoted to ten-pin, 5-pin, duckpin, 9-pin, or even rubberband duckpin bowling, would be best "never" to share your different types of bowling with anybody who bowls candlepins. Especially people who lives anywhere in Eastern Massachusetts, near, around, or in the Boston Area. Including members of candlepin men's leagues. A lot of those people can be very impolite, and obnoxious to you. If you share your types of non-candlepin bowling with them. And they will also make fun of them too. I know, because I ran into these jerks on YouTube, and on candlepin bowling websites. They'll jump on you, and hurt you feelings horribly. "They're prejudice against all types of bowling that are not candlepins!" This is a fair warning! It would be best never to email them. Only share these types of bowling with people who have your same interests, and who you can trust. Take a look at these candlepin bowling videos below:

Here are two videos of duckpin bowling taken at "Collin's Bowladrome" in Billerica, Massachusetts. Where I bowl on a league over there. And when you notice the red pin in the set of the pins, that's the prize pin. If the red pin is the head pin, or 1 pin, and you make a strike with it. You win the strike pool money that you place:

Are you for automatic free-fall pinsetters, or for string pinsetter machines for 5-pin bowling and rubberband duckpin bowling? Most 5-pin and rubberband duckpin bowling alleys in Canada carry string pinsetter machines now. But if anyone who would like to try have free-falls again, that's what my online bowling petition is here for. Here are some clips of 5-pin bowling with free-falls, and string pinsetters. See how you feel for any of these types of pinsetter machines:

The reason why nobody can play a perfect game (300 points) in candlepins, or duckpin bowling, is because it's due to the sizes and shapes of the bowling pins. Including the size of their bowling balls too. And the pins are also spread out on the set on the lane and due to their sizes and being smaller than ten pins. And the pins are placed on the exact same spots where the ten pins are placed on on the lane. Which makes it impossible to make 12 strikes in a string. The reason why you can play a perfect game in ten pin bowling, is because the pins are a lot bigger and larger. And the ball is big and 7 inches in diameter. Which makes it easier to knock them down and play a 300 game. You can also play a perfect game in Canadian 5 pin bowling (450 points), and rubberband duckpin bowling (300 points). Because their rubber rings stretch out 1 inch wider than their pins themselves attached to them. And the rings also makes the pins bounce and move around a lot. But I don't know if anyone has ever, or can play a perfect game in Kegel 9-Pin Bowling, or British 9-Pin Skittle bowling. I've never played them before. But they don't exist here in the United States. We may never be able play a 12 strike game in candlepin, or duckpin bowling. But we can still have fun with it. I still like them!:ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh:

There's another type of bowling. And It's the oldest type of bowling. Called "9-Pin Bowling." But it's only confined in Texas. You use 9 ten pin bowling pins, and set them up in a solid diamond on the lane. And use a ten pin ball just like in ten pin bowling. This type of bowling was banned from the United States back in the 1930's. Because people were ditching church on Sundays. And playing 9 pin bowling for gambling. There are no "automatic pinsetter machines" for 9 pin bowling. They only use human pinsetters. I found this website about a 9-pin bowling alley in Texas. But this type of bowling only exists in Texas.
