There was a live reality TV show that was aired back in the 1950's called "TABLOID." But it was only transmitted in Canada. And by The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, or CBC. Americans were never aware of this Canadian TV show in the United States. And it was never transmitted on American television either. The 50's was the time when everybody only had analog TV's with TV antennas on their roofs. Way before cable, or satellite TV ever existed. One of the episodes in this show that I've submitted on Retrostatic's Off-Topic Page in my submissions that are all related to bowling (which is one of my favorite sports.) was the Tabloid episode "Bonkers for bowling." And it was all about "5-pin bowling." Thomas F. Ryan the inventor of 5-pin bowling was in this episode. And it was recorded live on January 25, 1957.
Tabloid was on the air from 1953-1960. And it starred Dick MacDougal, Percy Saltzman, Joyce Davidson, Jane Mansfield, and Elaine Grand in it.

"I wish this show would be released on DVD someday. So I could obtain the "Bonkers for bowling episode." Even though me, and all of the other Retrostatic members weren't alive in the 50's. But I find this show very interesting."
