Studying Earth geology is another hobby that I also enjoy! ("Inorganic science is actually my type; But not organic.") I even try to mix astrogeology with it. Because of the planets' geological simulations like on Earth. Geology is all about rocks, petrology, volcanoes, lava, the Mid-Oceanic Ridge, mountains, how continents move, plate tectonics, land waste, rock, mud & landslides, erosions, inside the Earths interior. Earth's magnetic field, and so on. It even tells about how earthquakes happen, how rocks erode when they are exposed to Earth's atmosphere and weather, how foods we grow, and plant life receives element rock minerals like iron, potassium, calcium, etc.. One thing that was very sad, is when I heard that The Old Man in the Mountain in New Hampshire eroded away a while back. Because of weathering. I will miss that mountain. There's also learning about different types of rock. Like Salt, basalt, felsic, granite, coal, gems, quartz, crystals, and metals. It even tells you how crude old, and natural gas are formed while underground for millions of years, and where they come from. And it even tells about earth ground layers, and the rock recycling system. It tells everything about geology.:):):):)

Here are a couple of websites about "Geology" to visit:
