Here's a running list of things we need for the site. Over the past 10+ years, both Joseph and myself were able to find some really rare stuff through the internet, but some things continue to be really difficult to find. This list will be added to as time goes on. If you have anything here or know where it can be found, please do let me know:
1980s: - Commercial: Gremlins anti-drug PSA, 1985 (priority/high): A commercial that featured clips showing Gremlins doing drugs...one scene shows a Gremlin whose eyeball pops like bubble gum. - Commercial: Buckle Up PSA, year unknown, probably 1984 or 1985 (priority/high): A commercial for safety belts that had no commentary, just a whistled tune. It showed people in ridiculous situations using seat belts, such as someone sitting down at a lunch table using a seatbelt, a pianist using a seatbelt before playing the piano, etc. - Sitcom: Just Our Luck, 1983 (priority/high): A very short lived sitcom about a family that finds an old genie lamp, with a wisecracking genie named Shabu who grants their wishes...which usually wind up being more than they can handle. - Kid's Show: Slim Goodbody: The Inside Story, 1983? (priority/high): A PBS show featuring a spinoff character from Captain Kangaroo named Slim Goodbody, who wore a spandex body suit that showed off all of our internal organs. The show itself took place in side the human body, and the backdrops were all kind of cheesy looking. The show itself is pretty hard to find on tape. - Kid's Show: name is unknown, year unknown - probably early to mid 80s (priority/high): This PBS show aired during mid or late weekday mornings, and featured a professional sketcher who drew images on a canvas with colored pencils while telling a classic children's story (such as Hansel & Gretel, etc). The camera would pan in and out at the images on the canvas, and some sound effects were thrown in. You never got to see the artist, himself. The show, unfortunately, is only a memory, as we don't remember what it's name was. - Cartoon: Wolf Rock TV, 1984 (priority/very high): A cartoon that only lasted about 4-5 episodes before fading from existence. It's probably the hardest one to find of all time. It was exactly like Kidd Video, where cartoon episodes cut to real music videos. - Cartoon: Super Sunday, 1985 (priority/very high): Any tapings of the actual Super Sunday show itself (not the segments, which we already have), including the original introductions, ending credits and transitions. - Cartoon: Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters, 1988 (priority/high): Looking for ONLY the Slimer episodes, complete with the original intro it had, and any transitions as well. This series seems to be really hard to find. - Cartoon variety show: Kideo TV, 1985 (priority/high): A variety show featuring live-action actors wearing car shaped costumes, which went on to show cartoons like Popples, Ulysses 31 and a couple others. - Cartoon variety show: The D.J. Kat Show, 1987/NYC and NJ metro (priority/high): Looking for any full tapings and episodes of this show, especially with its intro and bumpers, and closing credits. Very interested in both the old format (with the tough looking DJ Kat puppet) and the revised series (with the "kinder" looking DJ Kat puppet). - 80s Saturday Morning cartoon preview specials: these are always a favorite. We have about 5 of them (they will be listed soon), but are interested in anything else that's out there. 1990s: - Cartoon: Mutant League, 1996 (priority/moderate): A cartoon based on the Sega Genesis game, "Mutant League Football." - Cartoon: The Disney Afternoon, 1990 (priority/high): We'd highly favor full tapings of this show with all of the original bumpers and intro still on it, especially the early years. - Cartoon: Gravedale High, 1991 (priority/moderate): We have the entire series, but it's in almost-unwatchable condition. Any mint condition episodes would be of interest. - Cartoon: G.I. Joe (DiC version), 1990 (priority/moderate): Looking for the less popular G.I. Joe series that DiC took over, after Sunbow folded. As usual, copies with all bumpers, the intro and credits are favored. |

Didn't they just release The Real Ghostbusters Volume 1 on DVD? I'm pretty sure they are going to release more as time goes on , or they already heave. You should check that out.

Yes - and thanks! I picked up the Real Ghostbusters box set a little while ago, but haven't gotten around to checking it out yet.
