Capsela sets featured transparent globe-shaped plastic parts that fit together with hex-shaped pegs. Some sets, notably the one shown in this commercial, were motorized and could be used to build robotic vehicles that were even waterproof. An infra-red controller was used to 'drive' the vehicles like a remote.
