One of the biggest toy fads of the 80's were these tiny, super collectible "M.U.S.C.L.E." alien wrestlers. Only a couple inches tall and strangely pink colored, they featured a host of over 230 truly imaginative and weird looking characters that could wrestle each other in a special wrestling ring. The toy series also expanded into rare blue, purple and other colored figure sets, and a collector's belt. The commercials for these action figures always mimicked the 1950's, and were in black and white - except for the eye appealing pink that were the figures' trademark color.
This commercial features the "Hard Knockin' Rockin' Ring."
The M.U.S.C.L.E. figures were originally released in four famously named box sets of 28 figures each: the "Cosmic Crunchers," "Thug Busters," "Mighty Maulers," and "Cosmic Showdown."
