This series of Levis animated commercials, reminiscent of the early MTV station bumpers, featured miscellaneous cartoon action happening in and around the red Levis tag. They usually began with an announcer, showcased a character who looked like the Grinch in a samurai outfit, and always ended with a clip of an animated Tarzan yelling "Levis!"
Levis' slogan at the time was "Quality never goes out of style."
